Google + is a network that is quickly gaining popularity, and it is surprisingly easy to gain followers there. First of all, you should make the most of your existing social network friends and followers. By tweeting or sharing your new Google + profile you will instantly benefit from those who are already connected with you online. Alongside encouraging your current connections to follow you, you should also promote your Google + profile on your website or blog so that your visitors can keep in touch. Have the means to share or retweet all of your Google + blog posts by those who find them useful.
As Google + operates on the basis of circles and conversations that are public to those circles, a great approach is to utilize them. Divide people into circles that fit certain categories, for example friends, family and those who share your business interests. When you want to gain more attention for a certain circle, engage in conversations with those who have followers you may wish to attract. If they find your content to be useful, they will soon +1 you. Make sure the content you post is as useful as possible, think about what you would find useful and get posting!
