Ever found yourself asking that question…I’m going to guess you have a few million times. You might not even know that Facebook has a Live Chat Support option. Well, they do and while I do not recommend using it for strategic advice I do find that the helpers at Facebook are great for ad-related questions like, “why was my account banned?” Or, “Why wasn’t my Facebook Ad approved?
It’s really easy to contact Facebook Support and get actual real-time Facebook Ad Account help from a Facebook “employee.” I use it probably once a week because let’s face it, Facebook Business Manager still sucks to navigate and since there are so many different versions, it’s very hard for me to walk a client through what to do without getting lost myself. If I run into an issue I don’t know the answer to, I turn to Facebook Live Chat Support. There are times when chat support is down for a little bit and it will tell you and prompt you to send them an email – I sometimes do that but usually I just check back in an hour or two and it’s back. If you find the “expert” helping you doesn’t seem well educated, simply leave the chat and go back to it later and start a new one…you’ll probably wind up with a better support rep.
Please keep in mind, Facebook is constantly testing new versions of Facebook and Business Manager so my screen may look a little different than yours. I have asked Facebook if Live Chat Support is available to everyone and they swear that it is though I have heard different from dozens of people who can’t seem to find this functionality. It works for me every time.
